- Once availing of our removal service on the “moving out” day, be present to supervise the on-site work.
- Check all the electrical equipment like refrigerators, dryers, etc., are switched off ahead of the assigned day, and are empty, dry, and frost-free.
- Obtain parking permits and notify your landlord if any.
Packing and labeling
- Collect or buy sufficient packing boxes, tapes, and packing paper.
- You can even hire plastic bin boxes for transporting your belongings.
- If any of your belongings are priceless or fragile then you can avail of the delicate packing services.
- Keep important documents handy.
Moving out
- Once the “moving-out day” arrives, wake up early and ensure that children and pets are safe and at a distance from the designated premise of loading.
- On arrival of the removal professionals, give them a rundown of the belongings mentioned in the checklist.
- Provide inputs for the loading plan or change it as per your needs.
- Keep a tab on the checklist and ensure that all of the belongings are loaded.
- A final recce is recommended to ensure that there are no belongings or documents left behind.
Moving in
- Make sure you call the concerned person of the day you will be arriving at your new abode.
- Be present before the removal professionals of AK Removals arrive at the new destination.
- Start the unpacking under strict supervision and check for every product listed by you in the checklist.
- Get your place set up by directing our professionals to place your belongings at the specific places you want them at.
